Cameron, a student from Rutland, recently spent a week working with us for his work experience placement. Here’s what he had to say about his time here!
“I have just completed a one-week work experience with EducationCity in Oakham and it was a really fun and interesting experience. Over the course of the week I saw most of the different areas of the business including sales and marketing.
“Out of these aspects, I particularly enjoyed sales and financing, because during my time in these areas I learnt a lot of new skills that are helpful for jobs in those fields.
“However, I believe that everything I learnt across the week will be really useful in later life when I begin to apply for jobs. Everyone in the workplace was extremely welcoming and friendly and they were all willing to help me if and when I needed it.
“Overall, it was a great experience that’s really helped to show me what it’s really like to be in the world of work, and I would thoroughly recommend coming here to any future students if you get the chance.”
