Well, what an absolutely fantastic time we had last week for Maths Challenge Week! It was a great celebration of everything to do with mathematics and we cannot thank everyone who took part and joined in with the maths fun enough.
Whether your preference is fractions, division or measurements, we hope you had fun too! We also hope that you loved playing PlayLive Maths if you did – in fact, we saw some super impressive scores on the PlayLive leaderboard.
Whilst we’re on that subject, for those that took part, I’m sure you’re very keen to hear who got the highest scores. Remember, the highest scorers in each year group will have some great goodies sent their way, and the top scorer will enjoy three months’ access free of charge to EducationCity.*
Here are the final scores:
Year Group | School | Score |
1 | Crowdys Hill School | 73 |
2 | Aberdare Park Primary School | 62 |
3 | Cuddington Croft Primary School | 58 |
4 | Heathland School | 57 |
5 | St Saviour's Catholic Primary School | 81 |
6 | St Saviour's Catholic Primary School | 76 |
Although Maths Challenge Week is over, we wanted to tell you that it’s not too late to try out all the Toolkit’s Activities, ThinkIts and more! You can always search for them on EducationCity and put your maths skills to the test.
We’re also still keen to see your Maths Challenge Week successes; just share them with us on Twitter at @EducationCity.
For now though, thank you to everyone who joined in – you all made it ‘more than’ fantastic!
