Maths is a fantastic and important subject. With the National Curriclum for Maths in England or the Making Maths Count initiative in Scotland, EducationCity's wealth of curriculum-ready maths content can help you teach mathematical concepts including number, measure and geometry in your classroom. Here's how!
Teacher Feedback: Maths Module
EducationCity's packed full of exciting Key Stage-appropriate maths resources to assist and complement teaching and get your students all excited about maths.
In fact, we've been speaking to one teacher, Mr Chambers, from Brierley Forest Primary School in Nottingham all about it. Here's what he said: “The Maths module covers all aspects you encounter in a typical lesson.
“The Topic Tools help model and explain an area of learning whilst the Learn Screens can be used to reinforce the correct methods. This can be followed up with matching and differentiated tasks in the Activities area, to match the initial lesson introduction. The Activity Sheets can then be used for independent learning.
“When assessment is required the 'Tests' section is ideal for tracking progress and identifying areas of weaknesses which can then be targeted in follow-up lessons. It's the all-in-one resource for Maths teaching!”
Thanks Mr Chambers!
