We've been in touch with Ms Fernley, ICT Coordinator at Park Road Primary School in Trafford which is also one of our Hub Schools!
Ms Fernley has been talking to us about EducationCity and one of her tips for teachers would be to use the Tracking tab in MyCity.
Here's what Ms Fernley said: “Use the 'tracking' tool in MyCity to check students' results in their classwork and homework.”
What's the Tracking tab in MyCity?
We know it's important to track students' progress and make sure you have all the information you require – that's why, alongside all of our assessment tools, we have the Tracking tab in MyCity.
What's a MyCity?

A MyCity is an area where you can quickly group content in one place and assign it to students to access in class (Classwork), or at home (Homework), providing your school subscribes to Home Access*.
Tell me about the Tracking tab…
- Monitors progress: the Tracking tab allows you to review your students’ progress in a MyCity and make sure they’re working through assigned content set by you.
- Track what’s been completed: lets you see what your students have completed, what’s in progress and what they haven’t accessed yet.
- Easily identify weaker areas: you can see what your students have scored on Activities and Tests, enabling you to identify weaker areas and easily address them.
Haven’t got access to the Tracking tab because your school doesn’t subscribe to EducationCity? Don’t worry, you can sign up for a free trial here or call +44 (0)1572 725080.
