With the half-term holiday coming, we wanted to tell you about EducationCity's Home Access and how it's perfect for your students to brush up on the skills they've learnt at school over the break at home.
What's Home Access?

Home Access allows your students to access EducationCity away from school, allowing them to continue their learning at home to combat holiday learning loss.
Home Access gives teachers flexibility; students can access work set by teachers or even explore EducationCity themselves!
Also, letting your students learn over the half-term holiday is really important as research indicates that as many as one in three children regress academically due to a break away from school.*
Ellen’s Top Tips for Setting Homework with Home Access
We’ve worked with Ellen, from our Education Team, who recommends Home Access to teachers and parents: “It’s great to set consolidation work for students, and through MySuccess, children and their families can track the progress they’re making through topics”.
- Set Homework: via MyCity, you can set work so students cover key points from the term’s lessons, or as a mid-term assessment point for your class.
- Sequence Homework: add PlayLive as a reward at the end of set work by sequencing it into the order you want.
- Set Learn Screens: to make sure your students understand new or already covered topics, add in a Learn Screen before setting Activities.
- Track Progress: use the Tracking tab to track Homework and see students’ scores at a glance!
