October is Black History Month which is celebrated nationally in the UK. To celebrate this and allow students to learn more about Black History, we have created a topical resource on it.

The resource includes fact sheets, lesson plans and thought provoking ThinkIts which enable pupils to consider the awful conditions people faced on slave ships, contemplate why Rosa Parks wouldn’t give up her bus seat, and discuss part of Martin Luther King’s famous speech.
