Have you heard of the Tour de France? It’s a massively famous cycle race, which has been going some hundred years and as its name suggests it takes place in France. This year’s race started last Saturday in Corsica and now goes on until Sunday 21st July, so watch out for it in the news! The cyclists taking part cover a huge total of 3,404 kilometres in the race’s 21 days of cycling. Wowee!
To mark the Tour’s start, we’re going to test your knowledge of the race as a group. The race is linked with a famous yellow item, which is worn by the winner of the most recent part of the race. All you need to do is tell us what that item is by taking part in our poll. You can vote as many times as you like so if you think the answer you’ve already given us is wrong, you can have another go!
And for your very own mention next week, tell us the city where the race ends.
Good luck!
