V-E Day!

Today is V-E Day- Victory in Europe Day!

V-E day commemorates the day when World War II allies accepted the surrender of armed forces of Nazi Germany. The act of military surrender was signed on 7th May 1945 in Reims, France and ratified on 8th May 1945 in Berlin, Germany.
