Ice Cream Sandwich Anyone?

National Ice Cream Sandwich Day is a time to enjoy the best cold sandwich in the world – an ice cream sandwich!

In July and August, there are several special days dedicated to ice cream. National Ice Cream Day, for instance, was the 3rd Sunday in July. But if you missed that one, as the Gang and I did, today is the perfect day to catch up!

Celebrating is easy! All you have to do is take a rectangular piece of ice cream and squish it between two wafers. Traditionally, it’s most popular to have vanilla or neapolitan ice cream as the filling with vanilla wafers surrounding it.
