Hi there!
We've recently been speaking to one of our fantastic Hub Schools, St Giles' C of E Primary School in Walsall. They've now been a Hub School for one whole year so we wanted to catch up with them about how it's gone so far.
Here's what Mrs Mavi, Deputy Headteacher there, said: “It has been very beneficial to be a Hub School in a number of ways. Being a Hub School enables us to support local schools with training as well as giving us new experiences to make our children's learning memorable.
We have accessed free quality CPD on our premises for teaching staff enabling them to use the new features of the software to maximise our pupils' learning. Hence, the resource is being used by students and staff throughout the school as a learning tool, for activities in class and for learning at home – even during the holidays!
“The EducationCity software has made an outstanding contribution to the development of the computing curriculum at St Giles CE Primary School.”

Hub Schools benefit the whole surrounding community of a school in many ways…
- Port of call: teachers in the surrounding area can get free CPD training with a member of EducationCity.
- Training made easier: teachers don’t need to travel so far to go to training sessions when there’s a Hub School nearby, saving valuable time.
- Regular training: teachers are always kept up to date with the latest EducationCity news, upgrades and features because training takes place on a termly basis.
