Blog takeover! Week 1 – A spy in camp :)

Blog takeover! We have a resident student teacher working with us for the next 4 weeks! Emma from Brighton University is hoping to gain an insight into how an ICT resource used in the classroom is made and take the experience gained to apply to her research studies. For the next four Fridays Emma will be sharing reflective thoughts from her time at EducationCity.com, so without further ado, we pass the baton…

Week 1:

Hello everyone! I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with EducationCity.com for my 3rd year complementary placement and I am already finding out about the exciting new ICT resources that will be available to use soon. 

Here are some sneaky pictures of what’s to come for the Year 1 Numeracy section! The activity is called ‘Smooth Shoppers’ and … I can’t wait for it to be finished.

As a student teacher I feel that it is important to keep up to date with ICT and to find ways of using ICT to make my lessons enjoyable and fun! Therefore I feel that my placement at EducationCity.com will provide me with many ways of making this possible. 

Make sure you stick with me on my journey through my placement! My detective hat is now firmly on and I am ready to dive into the world of EducationCity.com. I hope you’re all ready for what is about to come 🙂
