Welcome to the first City Today of 2015! With Bett 2015 just a week away, we have a special edition to share all of our plans with you, including information on the Winter Release, as well as the presentation schedule which is well worth reading about as it has exciting news!

Our New Features and Upgrade

We've been really busy adding new upgrades and features to EducationCity as part of our Winter Release 2014. We're really excited to showcase them at Bett. Among our new features and upgrades are:

  • MySuccess – a new feature that allows students to view their own Activity and Test scores.
  • 'Add to MyCity' From – Administrators and Teachers will be able to add any piece of content to a MyCity from other features on the resource including Search, the Curriculum Map and SuccessTracker, which will save valuable time when lesson planning.
  • Curriculum Map Updates – reference numbers (if this is relevant to your curriculum) can now be found when searching in the Curriculum Map so you can easily match to particular objectives within your curriculum.

Happy New Year! It's the start of a new year, so we thought we would have a change to our homepage! You can still find all you need to know about EducationCity, including the login page, we've just refreshed and modernised the look! Read more about it here.

We've Upgraded Our Phonics Content!

We've added 62 new and fresh Activity select thumbnail graphics to our phonics Activities! This will help those with tablet devices access the phonics area via Puffin Academy more easily! Learn more about this upgrade, click here.   

 

Double GESS Education Awards 2015 Nomination

We're delighted to announce that we've been nominated for two awards at the GESS Education Awards 2015, namely:

  • Global Education Supplier of the Year
  • Primary Resource Supplier of the Year

In order for you to use EducationCity at its best and get the most out of its functionality, we recommend that you ensure your internet browser is as up-to-date as possible. Ask your ICT Co-ordinator to organise this for you. Here's why.
