Our artists have been working hard to create an illustration as imaginative as the winning poem, “Dedication”. And finally, we're proud to reveal…
“Dedication” by Robert from St John's CE Primary School, the overall winner. Dedication was chosen for its flow, expression, honesty and realism.
Robert's prize will be professionally framed and mounted whilst all of the entrants can expect a certificate of participation in the post soon!
On behalf our judges – an expert panel of educationalists and producers – we would like to extend our congratulations to everyone who entered our poetry competition. All the entries were of such a high standard that we really did struggle to pick a top three. The most enjoyable part as seeing the sheer variety of entries. We were so impressed with everyone’s high level of imagination and clever use of words.
