Kate Sanderson, EducationCity’s HR Manager, was away with the fairies at the Rutland Show on Sunday 31st May fundraising for Anna’s Hope, which was our corporate charity for 2013/14.
We continue to support the charity and help out when we can, both by donating free EducationCity logins to the sick children going through chemotherapy and recovering from brain cancer treatment at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and also by using our time and technical resources to support the work of the charity.
Thus Kate found herself, somewhat waterlogged, in a muddy field at 7am on a Sunday morning! The cheerful atmosphere, bright tent and fairy wings however more than made up for the rain. The children who took part in the colouring competition and treasure hunt were happy, and quite a number of dads seemed grateful for some shelter!
Winners are yet to be announced but four prizes of a year’s free subscription to the EducationCity Homes Product were on offer.
At time of writing, the total amount raised is to be confirmed, but as ever, the chance to meet customers of EducationCity and supporters of Anna’s Hope is one not to be missed!
