On Sunday, a 27-strong team (made up of EducationCity employees, family and friends) physically and mentally put themselves to the test at Rutland Water as they took part in EducationCity’s Endurance Challenge 2015.
The aim of the Endurance Challenge was to make sure that every team member completed their individual challenge, whilst raising money for Rainbows Hospice, a charity which supports children and young people, as well as their families, who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Whether they walked, ran, cycled 3, 17 or 26 miles, each and every challenger battled on to the end, which meant that our Endurance Challenge was a huge success!
What’s more, in total, our 27-strong team covered 429 miles and as a result, we’ve fantastically raised over £520.00 on our JustGiving page so far for our efforts which we are absolutely thrilled at (this doesn't even include offline donations)!
Many thanks to the intrepid team who took on the challenge and to everyone who generously contributed to our cause. All of the sponsorship raised is going directly to Rainbows Hospice, and will hugely benefit the fantastic work that they do.
