It seems like just yesterday that a team of us were doing the gruelling 24-hour running event, the Equinox24, for charity. However, it was a whole year ago that we took it on now.
Well, we’ve news for you that we’re back! For this year’s Equinox24 event, we’ve new recruits – in fact, we’ve TWO team’s worth of recruits running for Rainbows Children’s Hospice.
Twelve of us are getting our running legs on in the hope to raise more than £1,000 worth of sponsorship for a great cause and charity.
What’s the Equinox24?
- Running event: The Equinox24 is a running event taking place at Belvoir Castle in Lincolnshire.
- 24 hours: It starts at 12 p.m. on Saturday 18th September and finishes at 12 p.m. on Sunday 19th September – that’s 24 hours of running!
- 10km lap: Our brave teams will take it in turns to run a 10km lap around the picturesque castle grounds. This means that over the 24 hours, they could complete 18 miles each, totalling 216 miles as two teams!
You can sponsor the EducationCity’s teams on their joint JustGiving page.

Good luck guys!
