Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and this year it falls on Tuesday 11th October.
Ada Lovelace lived nearly 200 years ago. She loved science and maths and is recognised to have been the first computer programmer.
With this in mind, we’ve created some great STEM-specific resources. We’ve a whole range of Lesson Plans to help your students find out more about Ada and other famous women in history, as well as explore the changing states of water, and investigate Fibonacci’s Golden Spiral, algorithms and sequences.
