It’s now been one year since Greyfriars Primary School in Norfolk joined us as a Hub School. Can you believe how fast it’s gone?
Well, as it’s anniversary number one, we’ve been talking to the school’s ICT Coordinator and teacher, Sarah Cook, to ask how it's gone so far. Here what she said!
“As a Hub School, we have been talking a lot about EducationCity at the courses that we go to – whatever they are for – and we are running a mini research project soon.
“Being a Hub School has raised awareness amongst staff who thought EducationCity was for the little ones, and it's now in use across the school in a lot of literacy and numeracy lessons, as well as being part of the intervention that we use for those children who need to catch up with phonics and basic numeracy and literacy.”
Sounds great, Sarah! We’re looking forward to working with you for even longer. Thanks for the update!
What are Hub Schools?
- Ports of call: Teachers in the surrounding area of a Hub School can get free CPD training with an EducationCity staff member.
- Saves you time: Attending training is made easier as teachers don’t need to travel so far to reach training sessions.
- Training on a termly basis: Regular training means teachers will always be kept up-to-date with the latest EducationCity news, features and upgrades!
