We’re really excited to tell you about the latest upgrades that have been added to EducationCity ready for the start of the new school year. These include:
Assessments: These can be found within English, Maths and Science when you log in as a Teacher or Administrator. Simply navigate to the subject, select your year group, then Assessments. To set an assessment for your students, simply click the new Set Assessment button on the homepage.
Sample Formative Reading Assessment 
The addition of these new assessments is Phase 1 of our vision for assessment. Take a look at the “Our Assessment Vision” blog for more details of the developments to come. For a summary of the assessments available, please see our blog “Connecting the Dots with Assessments”.
Our Updated Homepage: This includes a new Set Assessment button to coincide with the launch of Assessments. Also, on the left of the screen, you’ll see clickable icons to take you to our features in just one click. They make it super-speedy to get you where you want to go, and for an uncluttered look and feel, we’ve removed the feature dropdown menu from the top of the screen.
Multiplication Tables Check: With the Multiplication Tables Check mandatory as of next year for Year 4 students in England, we’ve launched our own version to help you prepare your classes.
Time Topic Tool: One of our first Topic Tools available for tablet users to access (alongside the Multiplication Tables Check tool above), you can opt to feature one or two clocks, and choose between digital and analogue formats.
