Walk to School Week is a campaign run by Living Streets, which has been promoting walking to school since 1995. Their aim is to encourage parents and children to make walking to school part of their daily routine. It takes place the week of May 21st. 
Our Walk to School Week 2012 Resources
We have got a lesson plan on creating a four line list poem about walking to school, fun and informative fact sheets on Road Safety and the health, social and environmental benefits of walking to school. There is also a poster in colour, and black and white, so that pupils can colour it in and add more information to it. The resources are free to download as PDFs.
